Director Hanelle Culpepper gives adjustments to actors Keno Deary (Lee) and Sonya Maddox (Rose) while Make-Up Artist Emilie Porter does touch-ups.

Inspired by the Singer (Sonya Eddy), Younger Rose (Bianca Lopez) is encouraged to get on stage and perform. Also shown is the Bartender (Jackie Millines).

Rose (Sonya Maddox) watches her husband Owens (Russell Andrews) leave yet again.

Younger Rose (Bianca Lopez) performs the blues for the first time and discovers that singing provides the attention she�s yearning for.

Years have passed, and Rose (Sonya Maddox) still sings the blues at a nearby juke joint, filling the emotional void caused by an absent husband. Also shown is the harmonica player Curtis �Smooth� Gray-Woods.
